Who's That Girl?
Singing to the beat of her own musical journey, Kyleen is a singer and actor with a distinctive style. Her effervescent personality filters into a sound blending vibrant energy with soulful vocals. While raised by a mostly non-musical family in New Jersey, she quickly became accustomed to standing out in her surroundings—the girl with the big voice was a nickname she got used to. She believes her beloved gift was passed down to her from her distant cousin and late jazz legend, Sarah Vaughan.
A graduate of Temple University, a former employee of the legendary Philadelphia International Records (Gamble & Huff) and a marketing freelancer—Kyleen has had her hands in a little bit of everything. A real #GirlOnTheGo.
She has gained a respectable reputation as an entertainer and has made appearances in a number of musical theater productions:
Sister Act (Deloris Van Cartier)
Lizzie The Musical (Bridget Sullivan)
HAIR (Dionne)
...to name a few. In addition to theater, Kyleen has also rocked several stages as both a solo and corporate event performer with companies such as Atomic Funk Project and EBE Events & Entertainment:
WAWA Welcome America
Warmdaddy’s
Long’s Park Amphitheater
Her performances have even garnered attention from media outlets such as The Philadelphia Tribune where she was recognized as a “2014 Women Achieving” honoree. She was also nominated for a 2016 BroadwayWorld Delaware Award for Best Actress in a Professional Musical for her role in HAIR.
